Snyk updated current images repository and announced Snyk Images nearing EOL
No changes to existing images at this point.
June-2024
Impacted images stopped receiving latest stable Snyk CLI release and security updates.
July-2024
Create and publish new Snyk Images where applicable.
Snyk introduced the following images:
mcr.microsoft.com/dotnet/sdk:8.0
node:22
ruby:3.3 python:3.12
July-2024
Create and publish migration user guides on docs.snyk.io where applicable.
User documentation is updated with migration guides.
Customers can build their own custom images, following these steps.
Customers using Python 3.6, Python 3.7 or Scala/sbt in their GitHub actions can follow these steps.
Customers using CircleCI IaC job are advised to read this documentation and take measures to minimize impact.
Customers using <v1.0 for Bitbucket Snyk Scan are advised to read this documentation and take measures to minimize impact.
