# Universal Broker workflow diagrams

The following workflow diagrams illustrate the steps that are implemented in the `snyk broker config` tool when you use the commands to automate. The same workflows are implemented when you use the API.

## Create a deployment workflow

You start the workflow and choose to use an existing deployment or create a new one. The deployment is then created.

## Create connection workflow

You start the workflow and select a deployment. You create a new connection for that deployment, selecting a connection type and entering the required parameters. You can use an existing or create a new credentials reference. The connection is then created.

## Integrate connection workflow

You start the workflow and select a deployment. You select an existing connection to integrate with an Organization and enter the Org ID for that Organization. The connection is then integrated with the Organization by Org ID. The connection is ready.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.snyk.io/platform-administration/snyk-broker/universal-broker/using-the-api-to-set-up-universal-broker/universal-broker-workflow-diagrams.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
